During my recent stay at Apartamento Rio, I found the experience to be a mixed bag. The welcoming reception from manager Jerusa was truly appreciated as she made us feel at home right away. The breakfast provided was enjoyable and functioned as the highlight of our stay - a good way to start the day. We booked the Economy Double Room, and while it matched the price we paid, it left much to be desired in terms of amenities. With no designated space to hang our clothes and a flat-screen TV that didn't quite elevate the experience, it felt a bit cramped. Our air conditioning unit struggled, which could be an issue during hot months. I was initially excited about the promised terrace for a more luxurious feel, but ended up in a smaller room, and the Wi-Fi connection was nonexistent. The lack of cashless payment options during checkout added to the inconvenience, coupled with limited power outlets. In terms of value, the location is decent, but the overall experience didn't align with the luxury one might seek. While there are merits, a discerning traveler might find better options for a similar price. Proceed with caution if you're prioritizing comfort.
